How the ratings work

Every role is broken into the tasks people actually do. Each task carries an exposure rating, meaning how much of it AI could do today and where it’s heading by 2028. The ratings are based on informed judgement by Ruchir Bhartee about what the tools can demonstrably do as of mid-2026. Your score is the weighted average across the tasks you keep, so a task that fills most of your week counts more than one you rarely touch.

Exposure is not a prediction. It means a task can change hands, not that a job disappears. The ratings are informed judgement, not measurements, and AI moves quickly, so attain is dated and you can see how current it is.
